
John, George, and Ringo were photographed on a zebra crossing (which no longer exists). Today, Derby Square is pedestrianised and traffic is channelled to by pass the square itself. The Victoria monument remains as it was when the photograph was taken.


Castle Street

On Friday, 10th July 1964, The Beatles returned to Liverpool for the northern premiere of A Hard Days Night.
They were invited to Liverpool Town Hall, were they stood facing a crowded Castle Street. The premiere itself took place at the Odeon cinema on London Road.
